The #First100Days series will “bear witness” to the next 13 weeks of the Trump administration and the climate in America and then respond openly in writing, dialogue, and debate in the hopes of fostering better communication among writers and partisans alike (although the essays and pieces do not have to be political in nature). When you’re in a position of power, you can’t just bully everyone.
Or maybe you can.
In a dictatorship you can actually get away with that for years. Well—that, a private army, browbeaten Congress, fleet of black cars, and enough Winston Smiths to actually scrub the internet and all media b-rolls for you.
But in America?
Eventually, all those egos, courts, institutions, individuals, swaths of voters, and lawyers aren’t going to want to settle out of court.
So what’s going on?
The evidence of Tweeted words and intent used against respected American voters and institutions make for a case that the President is using his slash-n-burn technique all-too-often, maybe as his third week strategy?

Of his last 24 Tweets:
- 18 of those Tweets seem intentionally designed to cause harm
- 75% of his Tweets are written in a way that could cause real harm to real people
- He seems to be trying to harm the following:
- Individuals
- Corporations
- Congress
- the Judicial Branch
- the Media
- the American Public

This is not covert; he is not trying to hide his agenda, as he writes publicly at @RealDonaldTrump.

Is it fair to say that the President is aiming to cause harm to the American public, media, Judicial Branch of the U.S. Government, Congress, and corporations that make up the fabric of our great nation?
Is this “Presidential” and “American” behavior or is this just a hyper-Nixonian play that future Presidents will use?
And how long until the Resistance—including the Republican majorities in Congress and on the streets and social media groups of America—resists every jot and tittle of the President’s Twitterly action?
